“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” ― Mark Twain

The tribe, minus Linda, visited their relatives in Holland.
This was their first time in the homeland together in over 30 years. Since I could not attend I have to take their word that they had a fabulous time. Gerda did bring back a ton on pictures and videos ….. and everyone did have smile so it is quite possibly true ……….
They certainly had enough beer – like as if the steins were glued to their hands (especially the guys).
From the home base in eastern Holland they branched out visiting many of the sights they had visited individually over the years, but never shared together.
As a bonus the relatives planned a side trip (as if travelling 800km could ever be a side of anything!) to Prague – or as John said “Where’s Prahaha? … are we there yet?”
Never the less they thoroughly enjoyed the change. Again ….. many beers and great food, shared with the good people of Prague.
You can tell that Henry was enjoying the meals, but wondering where was the beer.
Typical Canadian –
can’t relax and not happy unless he has a beer in his hand.
